4 LIFESAVING ADHD PRODUCTS THAT WILL MASSIVELY BOOST PRODUCTIVITY

Productivity with ADHD is quite difficult to achieve but not with these products. These are some of my favorite ADHD products that help calm myself when I want to be productive. They will help you kick out the anxiety, keep calm and focus on a specific task that you want to accomplish.

These ADHD products are fairly inexpensive and can be found on Amazon, Walmart, Target or even at the Dollar store.

So let’s find out what these products are and how they will help improve your productivity.

NOISE CANCELLING EAR BUDS.

When you’ve got ADHD, your brain tends to get distracted very easily. The slightest noise outside will really distract you from getting your to do list done. So getting good cancelling ear buds will really decrease the distractions and help you focus on what you’re doing.

The best noise cancelling ear buds are those that don’t hurt your ears even if you have them on for a long time.

Plus they’re better than noise cancelling headphones because they cancel out even human voices which the headphones do very little in terms of cancelling out the noise.

The earbuds help you to work in a complete vacuum even if you live in a chaotic neighborhood with kids screaming and the lady next door playing her 90s music all day long.

Additionally, they are cordless and that allows you to move your hands however you’d like without constantly getting distracted wires touching your arm if you’re working on your laptop.

And since your ADHD brain needs some sort of stimulation so that you don’t get bored easily, you can easily play music to keep your brain stimulated but still cancel out any distractions.

They’re really cool and I love them. And although they are a tad bit expensive than the normal ear buds that don’t have the noise canceling feature, there are a ton of them that are absolutely inexpensive like the one I use.

FIDGET TOYS

Fidget toys are extremely helpful to channel my excitement and calm my anxiety. When an idea pops into my mind and I get excited, I simply use my fidget spinners. It distracts my mind from the excitement and instead channels the excitement into an activity that is more productive. That allows me to think clearly and I’m able to make better decisions about which tasks I allocate the most time to.

WEIGHTED BLANKET

When you have ADHD, sometimes you might feel the need to move around when you should be focusing on a specific task. Usually this will happen when you have to sit down and your ADHD brain wants you to move around.

The weighted blanket will soothe that feeling of restlessness which will help you direct that energy towards accomplishing your task.

You can also use weighted blankets to induce sleep at night.

Your ADHD brain is constantly creating new ideas so it makes it difficult to sleep as you’re always bombarded with ideas at night. That’s where the weighted blanket comes in. It soothes that anxiety that always causes sleep deprivation in people with ADHD. The blanket has deep pressure touch stimulation that relaxes you and induces sleep so that you’re able to rest and wake up feeling rejuvenated the next day.

Otherwise, if you’re sleep deprived, you tend to be less productive and not in the best of moods.

STICKY NOTES.

I use sticky notes for all sorts of things. They help me remember things that I’m supposed to do and ideas that pop up in my mind. I have realized saying that I’ll remember an idea always doesn’t end up well so I use sticky notes to help me remember them.

I also use sticky notes to write out my to do list for the entire day. And every time I accomplish a task I cross it off my list. Not only does it improve my productivity but it also makes me want to do more tasks and that activates my serotonin levels - which ultimately makes me feel good about myself and the project that I’m trying to accomplish.

There are different sizes of sticky notes and you can use whichever size you’d like according to your needs/ number of things on your to-do list. I like cute sticky notes. They make me happy. That’s just me.
